Business management training for women entrepreneurs in Eritrea

Business management entails the planning, organizing of tasks, monitoring and efficient utilization of the resources of a business. It is an essential skill for starting and running businesses which will enable them to make their business successful. Businesses have a better chance to succeed if they utilize limited resources efficiently. In addition, how to run a business in an ethical way, managing a business' social responsibility, fair competition and legal obligations are some of the aspects any women entrepreneur should concern herself with.

TRAINING PROVIDED

• In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Agriculture, NUEW provides training in weaving, sewing, hair dressing, bee keeping and crop production, among others.
• Training is also provided in finance and management by inviting experts from different institutions. 
• Courses range from 3-6 months. 

AVAILABLE RESOURCES

• The NUEYS has a library where women entrepreneurs get free access to materials.
• The members also have free access to the internet. 

Additional services which are beneficial to women entrepreneurs
• NUEW organizes events that give opportunities to women to display and sell their products. 
• Provides networking opportunities for women-owned businesses.
