Guiding women entrepreneurs through the basics of business, from mentoring to coaching, personal development, marketing, sales insights and business training is very important. Without embedding confidence in their abilities to drive business forward, these entrepreneurs cannot progress, therefore, self-belief gained through mentorship is as important as imparting core business skills.

Founded in 2010, the Women Farmer Foundation (WFF) is a non-profit organization which empowers and develops women and youth farmers from subsistence to commercial level. It identifies and develops a corps of model women and youth farmers who inspire and capacitate their communities. 

It also supports women and youth farmers to advance agribusiness practice, lead and mentor others and share best practices. Some of the mentees have gone on to become successful women farmers winning themselves prizes in WOFACO over the years.
