“50 MILLION AFRICAN WOMEN SPEAK PLATFORM”, PRESENTATION OF THE PLATFORM TO MEMBERS OF THE COUNTRY TEAM IN TOGO

THE TOGO COUNTRY TEAM TRAINED ON THE USE OF THE PLATFORM The technical team of the quot50 million African women have their sayquot project on a monitoring mission from July 18 to 21, 2019 in Lomé in the Republic of Togo, met the Friday July 19, 2019 the members of the country team. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the listening and counseling center for victims of gender-based violence in Novissi. The objective of this meeting was to present the platform to the members of the country team and to discuss with them the communication and awareness work plan for the next semester. During this meeting led by the Coordinator and focal point of the project Mrs. Akanti OURO-AISSAH several points were discussed. The first point relating to the presentation and respect of the graphic charter at the level of different ECOWAS Member States. Graphic charter that must be respected during communication and awareness-raising activities. The second point relates to the presentation of the platform to the members of the country team. The process of validating information on the platform, the communication and awareness-raising work plan as well as the methods of financing the activities which will have to be retained, were the last to be discussed. It should be noted that the work plan that will be validated by the country team should present the main axes of the communication and awareness-raising activities to be carried out around the platform for visibility among future users who are women entrepreneurs. Remember that the “50 million African women have a voice” project aims to facilitate the empowerment of women through networking and information sharing. Each country will have to communicate effectively around this platform and raise awareness among women entrepreneurs in order to get them to use it.
