18 companies benefiting from financial support from the FCG

This Thursday, December 5, 2019 took place in Ouagadougou, the opening of the 72 hours of start-ups of the Common Gender Fund (FCG), they aim to introduce the public to the 18 companies benefiting from the financial support of the FCG, in exhibit their products and services and organize panels on entrepreneurship. They are in the spotlight for three days. They are the companies that have received technical and financial support from the Common Gender Fund (FCG). Eighteen in number, these start-ups are led by enterprising Burkinabè women. From December 5 and 7, 2019, these entrepreneurs will be able to gain visibility. Indeed, they will be presented to the public and will describe their different paths in the field of entrepreneurship. These women will be able to inspire others for this purpose. In addition, through stands, they will exhibit their products. The FCG hopes at the same time to help them grow their business. Three panels are also expected dealing with topics related to entrepreneurship in general and women's entrepreneurship in particular. These 72 hours are placed under the theme quot1000 small entrepreneurial initiatives of women for economic autonomy in Burkinaquot. The Common Gender Fund thus wants to show the positive impact of women's entrepreneurship on the national economy. The godmother of the event, Dorcas Tiendrébéogo, said she was optimistic when she saw the products represented. “We see here how Burkinabè women manage to transform our raw materials. They manage to impact and boost the economy of our country. I would like to congratulate all those who work in this direction, ”she admits. The Common Gender Fund was set up in 2005. It is the fruit of the synergy of the actions of technical and financial partners in Burkina Faso. Its objective is to work for the realization of the financial autonomy of women and for parity. The financing granted to the women is an interest-free repayable loan. In addition to financial support, the women selected benefit from coaching to strengthen their capacities in the management of their respective businesses.
