01 Nov 2019 - 00:00:00
The Minister in charge of Women, National Solidarity, Family and Humanitarian Action, Laurence Ilboudo / Marshal proceeded this Wednesday, October 30, 2019 to the award ceremony of the health competition. A competition initiated on July 11, 2019 within the various structures of the ministry. The award ceremony for the health competition initiated within the 33 structures of the Ministry of Women, National Solidarity, Family and Humanitarian Action, took place this Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Ouagadougou at the building Baoghin in the presence of Minister Laurence Ilboudo/Marshal, heads of departments and ministry staff. Launched on July 11, 2019, this activity, the first edition of its kind, aims to promote health and hygiene within work structures. Thus, the 33 structures of the ministry that participated in the competition were rated on the basis of 04 main criteria. These were the healthiness of the external environment, the hygiene of the premises, the hygienic practices of the personnel and the initiatives of the structures. It is therefore on the basis of these criteria that the 03 best structures of the ministry were awarded. The 1st place was then awarded to the Support Fund for Women's Remunerative Activities (FAARF). This structure was rewarded with a trophy and a check for 500,000 FCFA. The other structures ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively received certificates and the sum of 300,000 and 200,000 CFA. For Minister Laurence Ilboudo/Marshal, this activity aims to send a message. “We want to send a message to the whole population. Today we complain about a lot of mosquitoes and a lot of diseases that come and we don't know why. But it is our behavioral habits that generate all this. It is therefore important that each of us pay attention to our surroundings,” she explained. Finally, Laurence Ilboudo / Marshal said that a decree will be adopted to institutionalize this competition and that a periodicity of health days will be set up within the ministry.
