Are you a woman entrepreneur driving change in Africa? The Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (WEA) is looking for you. Deadline: 27 March 2024.
If you are a woman entrepreneur driving change in Asia Pacific, Latin America, Africa or the Middle East, the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (WEA), powered by Impact Hub Network, is giving you an opportunity to apply to join the Accelerator Programme, and gain valuable exposure, resources, and opportunities for your business.
The benefits include up to €25,000 in cash support, mentorship and support on a six-month Accelerator Programme as well as visibility and recognition.
Eligibility: To qualify, applicants must centre their solutions around health, nutrition and their intersection with climate-related challenges. Additionally, the solutions should emphasise social or community impact. Applicants are encouraged to integrate this focus into their applications.
Criteria
Woman-led/owned
Enterprises should be women-led and should be contributing to driving social change and improving their communities.
Driving social impact
Emphasis is on empowering women-led enterprises engaged in developing health, nutrition and related climate-smart solutions that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger) and 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing). Entrepreneurs should aspire to reduce inequalities with innovative solutions to uplift one another.
