The Togolese rural woman is in the spotlight

The apotheosis of the International Day of Rural Women, 2020 edition, was celebrated on October 15, 2020 in Lilikopé in the prefecture of Zio. The international theme for this edition is “Celebrating all the winners receiving the women's world summit foundation (wwsf) award for women's creativity in rural life”. Togo, for its part, has chosen as its national theme: quotThe economic empowerment of rural women in the face of covid-19quot. On this occasion, four women's groups were supported with processing production equipment. The donations were supported by protective equipment against covid-19 offered by the UNDP.
