GUINEE BISSAU : DAY 8 MARCH: VISIT THE STRUCTURES OF WOMEN IN THE REGION OF CACHÉU - NORTHERN COUNTRY

As part of the preparations for the celebration of International Women's Day, March 8, a delegation from the Ministry of Women, Family and Social Solidarity visited this Tuesday some women's organizations that develop income-generating activities in the Cacheu Region, northern parents. This visit aimed to identify the main activities carried out by some women's associations in the Region with the aim of highlighting the contribution of Guinean women to the country's development. The delegation made up of the Secretary General of the Ministry, Carlos Tipote, the President of the Institute of Women and Children, Florence Khady Dabo Correia and the Communication Advisor, Edmilson Queba Dabó visited the association of women manufacturers of traditional items of the Manjaca de Calequisse ethnic group ) and the association of women extracting palm oil from Mpakaque (near Djita) called quotFusi katemquot.
