This meeting, which saw the participation of 60 women, aimed to explore and find solutions to the challenges faced by women and girls who engage in income-generating activities. In this meeting, participants should acquire knowledge in the field of coaching, public speaking, strengthening self-esteem and confidence, in short the development of personal qualities to build a more economically productive society. The participants in this meeting raised certain difficulties that women face apart from that of coaching. This is, among other things, access to credit and financing, a major challenge for starting or growing an economic business. It is reported that the Lance d'Afrique Burundi Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on Social Entrepreneurship supporting the cause of vulnerable people (especially women) for their economic empowerment and well-being in Burundi, in the Region of Great Lakes and all over Africa.
