Training, by FEFA/Benin, of Beninese women entrepreneurs

In 2008, following the summit of ECOWAS Heads of State held in Abuja, the latter expressed the wish that an organization of women entrepreneurs called the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs and Women of ECOWAS Affairs (FEFA / ECOWAS). The FEFA / ECOWAS was thus born in Accra (GHANA) during the General Assembly which was held from July 23 to 25, 2009. To concretize the establishment of state structures representative of the community organization, the FEFA BENIN was born on February 17, 2011. FEFA Benin, the umbrella association of women entrepreneurs and businesswomen in Benin, has around a hundred member associations. Its main objective is to promote women's entrepreneurship through the strengthening of women's capacities and the creation of a platform for dialogue and action. The objective of FEFA/Benin is to create a platform for dialogue and action to promote women's entrepreneurship in Benin in order to enable it to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and those of NEPAD, in particular the regional integration of Benin through the establishment of a support and advocacy policy for: - The improvement and strengthening of the skills and capacities of Women Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen, - The promotion of a business environment conducive to businesswomen and women entrepreneurs in Benin Training for the benefit of Beninese women entrepreneurs Training 1 When?
