The 2019 edition of the Young African Women Congress is set to take place from Sunday 21st July to Thursday 25th July, 2019 in Accra, Ghana under the theme, “Grassroots Mobilisation for Women’s Empowerment: Young Women Lead”. It will feature well renowned women leaders across the globe who would impart knowledge to young African women delegates through keynote presentation, panel discussions and group brainstorming sessions among others. Delegates get the opportunity to contribute to discussions and are also treated to a full day tour within the host nation to promote Africa’s heritage and tourism. YAWC is opened to all African women within the age limit of 18 and 45 who are interested in making impact within their immediate environments and influencing the continent as a whole.
