For the Minister and the local council, this project should serve as a model in other agricultural regions of the country, as its sustainability and effectiveness in generating income for families and empowering women are proven. The Minister said she was extremely satisfied with the result, ensuring that she would fully adhere to the President's idea of sharing this good experience with women from other communities. Maritza Rosabal was accompanied during this visit by the Minister of Women, Family and Social Protection of Guinea-Bissau, the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Action of Mozambique and the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Gender Equality of Equatorial Guinea, who They had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the project and see its effectiveness and sustainability. The ministerial delegation is in Cape Verde to attend the 6th Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Gender Equality of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries, scheduled for tomorrow November 6, on the theme “Fight against gender-based violence and feminicide”.
