EXCHANGES WITH STUDENTS ON THE SUBJECT OF “RESPONSIBLE SEXUALITY”

14 Feb 2020 - 00:00:00
The results of a study published by LASDL in 2019 reveal that in the university environment, there was 53% unprotected sex in the last 12 months; 20.6% sexual assault rate; 3.8% having performed an abortion at least once and 20.6% having taken psychotropic products at least once in their life. Faced with the LASDL statistics (2019) in the university environment, the Minister of Social Affairs and Microfinance deemed it useful to exchange views with university students. With her colleague from Higher Education and Scientific Research, Minister TOGNIFODE was on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 to meet students from the University of Abomey-Calavi. At this meeting, there was talk of raising awareness for quotresponsible sexualityquot in order to avoid STDs and the occurrence of unwanted pregnancies. It was also a question of avoiding gender-based violence and providing guidance for denouncing sexual abuse by blackmailing notes. They also exchanged with the students on the social measures of the Government at the University. https://www.facebook.com/797590437097687/posts/1391333421056716/
