As part of her socio-economic program, the Minister of Women, Family, Gender and Child Protection visited the regions of Saint-Louis, Matam and Louga, during the period from 25 January to February 01, 2020. A series of activities were included in the program, the highlights of which were meetings with the women's associative movement (mainly marked by the sharing of the memorandum), and punctuated by the delivery of batches of training materials. reduction of women's work and production, certificates of notification of the end of training provided by the CEDAFs of Ross Béthio, Matam, and Kébémer, notification of project financing to women's groups. These events were preceded by foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremonies of infrastructure registered by the Ministry in the area of socio-economic empowerment of women and girls. This approach, which is intended to be close, constitutes strong moments of exchange, communication and dialogue with a view to better taking charge of socio-economic demands. Thus, under the guidance of the administrative authorities, the Minister, accompanied by her delegation, visited the departments of: Saint-Louis, Dagana, Podor, Matam, Ranérou, Kanel, Linguère and Kébémer. At the end of this tour, funding envelopes for the benefit of women's organizations were released. They amount to six hundred and fifty million (650,000,000) FCFA distributed as follows: Saint-Louis: 100,000,000 FCFA Dagana: 80,000,000 FCFA Podor: 100,000,000 FCFA Matam: 70,000,000 FCFA; Ranérou: 40,000,000 FCFA; Kanel: CFAF 60,000,000; Linguist: 100,000,000 FCFA; Kebemer: 100,000,000 FCFA;
