50 MWSP PROJECT: A TECHNICAL SUPPORT MISSION IN BENIN The “50 MWSP” project team is preparing to launch the platform, the essential output of the said project. To this end, several missions have been launched to work with both the consultants and the country teams. The mission dispatched to Benin by the project team is a technical support mission for the country team and the local content manager. To this end, the delegation made up of Joël AHOFOFODJI, Regional content manager and Claude HOUINATO, Project accountant had three working sessions in 48 hours, on July 23 and 24, 2019:  First working session It gathered around the Director General of Family and Social Affairs, the technical directors of the said general management. In addition to courtesy greetings, the session focused on the 50MWSP project, its very advanced platform under construction, the opportunities that this platform can offer to African women entrepreneurs in general and Beninese entrepreneurs in particular. The challenge to be met is that of the significant presence of Benin on the platform through the various information relating to business opportunities and facilities.  Second working session At this level, the delegation had a working session first with the Consultant, local content manager, then the aforementioned and the managers of the women's department and the promotion of gender. The exchanges mainly focused on:  Information and technical developments of the platform;  The next continental and regional campaigns to launch the platform;  The draft of the workplan from August to December 2019 and financing methods.  Third working session: meeting with ECOWAS delegation + Country team + Local Content Manager Consultant This strategic meeting enabled the delegation to provide members of the country team with information on the platform, to clarify the tasks, roles and methods of intervention of the consultant on the one hand and of the country team on the other. The exchanges made it possible to mobilize once again on the challenges of the platform to be opened soon to the public. In addition, the August-December work plan is also validated and the challenge relating to reliable data is strongly raised and analyzed. Ultimately, this mission allowed, in Benin, clarification and mobilization around the platform while waiting for the official launch.
