NETWORK OF WOMEN LEADERS OF BENIN NOW IN PLACE

A NETWORK OF APPROXIMATELY 300 WOMEN LEADERS On the sidelines of the festivities of the International Day of Rural Women, the Minister of Social Affairs and Microfinance has set up the Network of Women Leaders of Benin. Are members of this network, about 300 women, from all the departments of Benin: craftswomen, women from NGOs and CSOs, traders, farmers, intellectuals, entrepreneurs of all categories... The idea of this grouping comes from of the African Union offering these women a framework allowing them to be not only leaders who militate in favor of peace and security in their country, but also guarantors of the socio-economic development of Benin. AN OFFSET OF THE AFRICAN WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP FUND The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) is pleased to launch the online platform of the African Women's Leadership Fund (AWLF). AWLF is an innovative impact investment fund whose vision is to emerge empowered financial leaders as an essential component of a prosperous Africa.
