INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOW FOR EXHIBITIONS AND WOMEN'S FAIR 2019 EDITION

As part of the program to mobilize women for better involvement in the development process, the association Action Collective pour le Développement Intégral de l'Enfance et de la petite Fille (ACDIEF), whose objective is to promote the entrepreneurship and the empowerment of young girls is organizing from October 24 to 27, 2019 at Place Anani Santos in Lomé, the second edition of the International Fair for the Exchange of Exhibitions and Women's Fairs (SIEF). Placed under the theme quotthe entrepreneurship of young girls, a means for achieving the SDG5quot, the SIEF is a framework for the promotion of Togolese know-how and is intended to be an opportunity during which the female gender is called upon to exhibit accessories in loincloth, beads and batik and others of a cultural nature. This fair aims to promote female entrepreneurship, allows trained young girls to exhibit their works and offers a framework for exchange between young female entrepreneurs. Through this fair, ACDIEF intends to mobilize funds to support young girls trained to set up on their own. The Salon International d'Échanges des Expositions et Foire au Feminin is a meeting rich in exhibitions, B&B meetings, on-site training and a fashion show. The SIEF is open to all Togolese and foreigners and sees the participation of exhibitors from countries in the sub-region. It should be noted that the mobilization program of the female gender for a better involvement in the development process of ACDIEF is a program which has made it possible to train more than four hundred and fifty young girls and women in entrepreneurship and has as its objective, on the one hand, to motivate young girls and women to be more involved in their businesses and on the other hand to provide the necessary weapons to young girls and women through practical training in entrepreneurship for their empowerment.
