TAX PAYER SEMINAR FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) in collaboration with Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday 26th September organized a Tax Payer Seminar for 40 women entrepreneurs. The activity was funded by the UNDP under Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, with the objective of improving voluntary tax compliance as part of GRA’s Taxpayer’s Education Program. Participants comprised of women in the Agibusiness, fashion, trading and crafts etc.. sectors. The Seminar also served to enlighten Women in business about their tax obligations, when to pay their taxes and how tax returns is calculated.
