SIXTY WOMEN TRADERS FROM TOGO'S MARKETS TRAINED IN LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT OF MICRO-ENTERPRISES AND SENSITIZED TO COVID-19

The Ministry of Social Action, Promotion of Women and Literacy (MASPFA) through the Directorate of Cooperation and Promotion of Women's Economic Activities (DCPAEF), proceeded on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in the conference room of the General Directorate of Gender and the Promotion of Women at the launch of a series of training sessions for market traders in Togo. This training, which comes at the right time in this period of COVID-19, aims not only to train traders in the management of micro-enterprises but also to raise awareness about COVID-19. For 14 days, sixty (60) women traders from the markets of Lomé-commune and the prefecture of Agoè-nyivé in sessions of fifteen (15) women for three (03) days will be trained in leadership, management of micro-enterprises , on costing and marketing strategies of micro-enterprises, on the conditions to be met for the formalization of micro-enterprises and the related advantages, on the advantages of forming groups. These women traders will also be trained and sensitized on the use of the 50 Million African Women have the Word platform and on the barrier measures to combat the spread of COVID.
