Uganda disburses a Trillion to support entrepreneurs

The Ugandan government gives one trillion of Uganda shillings to the Uganda Development Bank (UDB) to support entrepreneurs in import substitution economic activities. “Entrepreneurs can now borrow from the bank to finance opportunities brought on by the COVID pandemic.” President Yoweri Museveni said during his recent visit to the Lida Packaging Products Ltd , in May 2020.
