Mentors are volunteers who act as a guide, coach and sounding board for the mentee. Mentoring program gives experienced people the opportunity to offer guidance to less experienced early in their careers who desire to further develop their business skills, knowledge and network.

Bridging Gaps Advisory (Bridging Gaps Advisory)

 

Bridging Gaps Advisory (BGA) helps businesses, particularly women-owned, clarify their goals and objectives and assist them to develop skills and acquire the resources needed to operate a successful and sustainable business. BGA in partnership with the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) Gambia run a six month mentoring program annually. The program gives experienced female leaders the opportunity to offer guidance and support to young women early in their careers. They will act like role models and encourage their mentees to take the next step, to reach for higher goals and push them to lean in. Mentorship has a transformative power, research has shown that it is an incredible career accelerator.

The objective of the programme is to provide young entrepreneurs with life changing skills and experiences that will help them to further develop their businesses for sustainable success.
