  • Business planning
  • capacity building on money use,
  • Loan repayment
  • Basic financial management
  • Budgeting and budget management
  • Guiding principles for effective financial management and reporting
  • Ethics, internal controls and compliance in financial management
  • Methods and practices for effective financial reporting

Opportunities for financial inclusion in Tanzania:

  • Digital financial services
  • Development of new products and services of particular interest to women

Financial Literacy

An estimate of 42% of women only are likely to borrow from banks compared to 56% of men. This gap in access to capital is attributed to lack of skills in Tanzanian women.

There are other reasons that contribute to this financial inclusion gap including: social norms, low literacy, and numeracy levels. Consequently, women hardly earn enough profit when they do business.

Financial Literacy is needed for women to do business efficiently it would equip them with a range of skills much needed.
