Trade Agreements signed by Tanzania
To tap into that, the government has signed trade agreements and developed a National Trade Policy which contains rules, instruments, and agreements important to control import and export of goods and services to and from foreign countries.
Importance of Trade Agreements to Women Entrepreneurs
The Tanzania Trade Policy is a government document that shows the commitment of the Tanzania Government. The trade policy acknowledges that women are the key productive force that is severely constrained by limited access to key productive assets including the capital, education, and skills.
To address the gap, the policy proposes various initiatives to be taken by various sectors to ensure the inclusion of women in trade processes.
