Trainings on women's empowerment in the DRC

Despite the obstacles women entrepreneurs face in their businesses, they play an important role in the Congolese economy. They increasingly create employment opportunities for other women as well as men, while supporting their own families and communities.

The promotion of women in the world of work as well as the fight against gender-based discrimination are on the agenda of most public and private structures that organize training on female empowerment in order to equip women with new knowledge.

Capacity Building Framework for Women in the Private Sector and Women's Civil Society Networks - CASPOF

CASPOF (capacity building framework for women in the private sector and women's networks in civil society) is a specialized structure of the Ministry of Planning, created in 2011 by ministerial decree of the Minister of Planning, CASPOF is a structure that builds the capacities of women, entrepreneurs, market gardeners, and all women in the private sector; women civil servants and executives as well as all women in women's civil society networks.

We support women entrepreneurs in formalizing their structure and obtaining entrepreneur cards at the one-stop shop for business creation.

Training and support are offered to women whenever the request or the opportunity arises.
