Ebola outbreak
The World Health Organization declared on June 25 the end of the Ebola virus epidemic in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. This outbreak affected 3 provinces in eastern DRC: North and South Kivu as well as Ituri.
A new epidemic, the 11th recorded in the DRC, was declared on June 1, 2020 in the province of Equateur, precisely in the provincial capital Mbandaka. This province is located in the west of the DRC, 720 km from the capital of the DRC Kinshasa by river. The other cities of the DRC are not affected by this epidemic.
It is recommended to follow the following prevention instructions:

Social services in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Health situation in the DRC
Since the Covid-19 pandemic and the opening of the borders, the movement of people, both arriving and departing from a city in the DRC , is subject to the obligation to present a medical certificate confirming the negative result. of the Covid-19 test. For an international trip departing from Kinshasa, the test must be carried out 72 hours before departure, with the travel document, at the National Institute of Biomedical Research (INRB):

In Lubumbashi, only the Grand Provincial Laboratory, representing the National Institute for Biomedical Research (INRB)/Kinshasa, is able to issue a medical certificate confirming the negative result of the Covid-19 test.
