Ebola outbreak
The World Health Organization declared on June 25 the end of the Ebola virus epidemic in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. This outbreak affected 3 provinces in eastern DRC: North and South Kivu as well as Ituri.
A new epidemic, the 11th recorded in the DRC, was declared on June 1, 2020 in the province of Equateur, precisely in the provincial capital Mbandaka. This province is located in the west of the DRC, 720 km from the capital of the DRC Kinshasa by river. The other cities of the DRC are not affected by this epidemic.
It is recommended to follow the following prevention instructions:

Social services in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Social services include a range of essential services to support women's rights, safety and well-being of women and girls who are victims of violence, including crisis information and helplines, psychological counseling and psychic, technical support for the promotion of women's activities, legal information and rights, as well as advice.
Ensuring access to basic social services is at the heart of the mandate and activities of many public and private structures, non-governmental organizations as well as specific programs in favor of women's rights and gender mainstreaming.
Health situation in the DRC
Since the Covid-19 pandemic and the opening of the borders, the movement of people, both arriving and departing from a city in the DRC , is subject to the obligation to present a medical certificate confirming the negative result. of the Covid-19 test. This test must be carried out no earlier than three days before the planned trip.
For an international trip departing from Kinshasa, the test must be carried out 72 hours before departure, with the travel document, at the National Institute of Biomedical Research (INRB):

The result is available in 24 hours
In Lubumbashi, only the Grand Provincial Laboratory, representing the National Institute for Biomedical Research (INRB)/Kinshasa, is able to issue a medical certificate confirming the negative result of the Covid-19 test.
For women who are in other provinces, they can approach the authorized test center closest to their place of stay
