MENTORING IN THE WORLD OF WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN BENIN

UNDERSTANDING MENTORSHIP

Mentoring is a mode of learning designed to support a person at various stages of their professional development.

The mentor guides the mentee in his learning, he promotes the sharing of experiences and the development of knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills of the mentee. Mentoring is also an effective way to acquire a whole range of personal and professional skills. It is an additional means of training intended to promote the integration of new employees into an organization, or the transfer of expertise between an experienced person and another with less experience in a particular field, interested in taking advantage of the exchange.

MENTORING FOR ENTREPRENEURS

Mentoring for entrepreneurs is a free support relationship, based on mutual trust and respect. In this privileged relationship, a volunteer mentor wishes to share his entrepreneurial experience by accompanying a mentored entrepreneur and putting his know-how at the service of the latter.

Mentoring for entrepreneurs allows the mentee to increase his development as an entrepreneur while being able to have the perspective necessary to better assess his options and make his own decisions.
