Mai Moawad is an Egyptian citizen who loves her country and the real heritage of her country, which reflects our Egyptian identity.

Mai started her quothandmade carpet workshopquot project in 2015, where she makes different types of carpets, both modern and contemporary, using different materials. with the help of 5 employees,

At the end of 2019, that is, after 4 years of hard work and increased production volume, Mai needed financial support to be able to meet the increased demand for her products. To enter under his project. the umbrella of the formal sector and benefit from all the benefits provided by the government for projects in this sector.

Mai took advantage of this funding to purchase more raw materials and develop and expand the project to a workforce that has now reached 80 employees.

He also acquired training and marketing services, through his participation in a number of training courses offered by the Business Development Authority. In the field of e-commerce and marketing, it started exhibiting its products in exhibitions held by agencies, the most important of which is our heritage exhibition.

Currently, Mai is considering getting another funding from the Business Development Agency to create new leather carpet production lines and to expand and develop the project.

When asked about the prices of his products, Mai replied: The prices of the rugs range from 1,500 to 5,000 pounds, depending on the size and materials used.
