Convert your visa into a long-stay visa:
The visa convertible into a long stay can only be obtained from the services of the Embassy and the Consulates. Being only for a period of 1 month, it is to be transformed in the month following the entry into Madagascar with the Immigration services of the National Police (Ministry of the Interior), into a residence permit according to the conditions required by this service. The granting of a visa convertible into a long stay does not imply the automatic granting of a residence permit in Madagascar.
NB: A boarding agreement or a 72-hour entry visa for the purpose of obtaining a visa convertible into a long stay, is granted only to foreigners coming from a country where no Malagasy Diplomatic or Consular Representation is accredited, after prior written request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar.
