Access to financing for Djiboutian women entrepreneurs

To overcome the limits of access to formal financial systems and stimulate the financial inclusion of small project promoters, the State of Djibouti has set up structures capable of offering affordable and secure financial resources to financially excluded individuals, in particular the women.

The list below presents the main financial assistance structures and their roles. These include: the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS), the Djibouti Economic Development Fund (FDED), the Caisse Populaire d'Epargne et le Crédit and the social counters under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and of solidarity (MASS).

We also find private commercial banks that allow savings and grant credit upon presentation of a bankable project.
