Visa fees vary depending on the type of visa: A transit visa (1 to 14 days) costs USD 12 and a short-stay visa (15 to 90 days) will cost you USD 23.

INFORMATION ON THE IMMIGRATION SERVICE
The Republic of Djibouti is a country in the Horn of Africa , located on the west coast of the southern outlet of the Red Sea . It shares borders with Somalia to the south, Ethiopia to the west, Eritrea to the north, and across the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait , a maritime border with Yemen .
Citizens of any country in the world, except Singapore, must have a visa to enter Djibouti.
- Obtaining a visa upon arrival in Djibouti
A visa may be obtained from a country where Djibouti has a diplomatic representation (embassy or consulate). Travelers from countries where Djibouti does not have diplomatic representation, can introduce and obtain a pre-authorization of visas through the electronic system E-Visa . It is also possible for a person holding a passport with a validity of six months to obtain a visa upon arrival at Ambouli International Airport.

At all border posts, travelers are asked to present a passport valid for more than 6 months. For vehicles, the driver is asked to present the documents of the car (driving licence, registration card, insurance, pass). The driver who does not own the car must have a driving license issued by the owner of the car. It should be noted that all vehicles are systematically searched before entering or leaving Djibouti border posts.
