At a time when in Africa, female entrepreneurship is experiencing considerable growth, we are witnessing the emergence of public or private institutions working for the economic empowerment of women and, moreover, the promotion of female entrepreneurship.

More specifically, these institutions have set themselves the task of developing economic opportunities for women, supporting them in setting up their businesses, facilitating their access to resources and overcoming the difficulties faced by women in the economy. and society.

The objective of this part is to describe all the actors involved in the process of the dynamics of economic empowerment of Djiboutian women.

Tasks

  • Encourage the networking alliance of women entrepreneurs, in particular by setting up a structure called quotFEMCOMquot
  • Provide effective remedies to complaints and grievances related to violations of the right to food.
  • Participate in the formulation and revision of national laws,
  • Educate women through the literacy program to better integrate into the economic fabric,
  • Provide young girls aged 14 to 25 who have dropped out of school with qualifying and certifying technical training in sewing and embroidery, cooking and hairdressing
  • Collect, investigate and provide assistance to women who are victims of abuse or injustice (listening unit)
